A Taste of Autumn: A Celebration of Local Flavors

Join us in the heart of fall for a five-course guided tasting experience bringing together three local businesses and the flavors of autumn in New England.

Bubble Bar on Main, Boards for Days, and Roots & Spoon are teaming up for an evening exploring how craft cocktails, artisanal cheeses and charcuterie, and seasonal pickles and preserves can come together in unexpected—and delicious—ways.

Each of the five courses will feature a sampling from Bubble Bar on Main’s fall cocktail menu, thoughtfully paired with cheeses and meats from Boards for Days and pickles and preserves from Roots & Spoon. Featuring ingredients made or grown within 20 miles of Amesbury, each pairing has been intentionally curated to complement the flavors of the season.

Sip your way from bright Cava paired with pickled blueberries, thyme-kissed radish, Tête de Moine and brioche to richer fall flavors of pear, aged Gouda, pickled butternut squash and red wine pumpkin butter. As the evening continues, we’ll explore smoky mezcal with blackberry and rose, savory Cabernet alongside Manchego, salami and pickled vegetables, before finishing with warm notes of toasted pecan, maple and bourbon paired with brandied apple butter, espresso cheese and candied pecans.

This is more than a tasting—it’s a collaboration between three local businesses, each bringing their craft to the table to create five pairings designed to be experienced together.

Please note: Because each course has been carefully paired as a complete tasting experience, no substitutions will be available for this event.
